About Dance Art Group
Dance Art Group fosters and promotes the study, practice and appreciation of improvisational dance in Seattle.
We produce the annual Seattle Festival of Dance Improvisation (SFDI), a week-long summer event featuring master classes, jams, performances, and discussions with local, national and international dance artists.
DAG also produces other workshops and events throughout the year that support innovative research and education in dance/movement. Past dance artists include: Keith Hennessy, Martin Keogh, Nancy Stark Smith, Lisa Nelson, Steve Paxton, K.J. Holmes, Kirstie Simson, Jess Curtis, and more.
